Placements24 is seeking a diligent Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our Johannesburg team. You will coordinate daily logistics, manage inventory, and liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar warehousing role.
• Strong understanding of warehousing and transportation processes.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and relevant software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day logistics and warehousing operations to ensure timely shipments.
• Manage inbound/outbound logistics, including scheduling pickups and freight consolidation.
• Monitor inventory levels with cycle counts and physical audits.
• Liaise with carriers to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve transit issues.
• Maintain records in the WMS and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and production for seamless operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
