Placements24 is seeking a proactive Junior Operations Coordinator for a hybrid role in Centurion, Gauteng. You will support daily logistics, inventory control, and on-time dispatch while collaborating with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in logistics/supply chain or related field, up to 2 years of experience, and strong Excel and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in an operations, logistics, or supply chain role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with logistics software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote tasks.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
• Must be based in or willing to commute to Centurion, Gauteng for required on-site duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating daily logistics and transportation activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock movements.
• Process orders and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Support the implementation of operational improvements and efficiency measures.
• Prepare reports on operational performance, such as delivery times and costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
