Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will optimize production processes, implement lean methods and drive efficiency across diverse client sites from a distance.

The role requires 5–7 years of industrial engineering experience, strong analytics, and proficiency with process simulation and data tools. SA remote position with flexible home-office support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience with proven process-improvement delivery.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and CI frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and remote working skills.
• Proficient in process simulation software, Excel, Minitab and PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes and data to identify efficiency and cost improvements.
• Lead lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and optimize workflows, layouts and material handling systems.
• Create SOPs and work instructions for remote teams.
• Collaborate with on-site and remote teams to implement solutions.
• Manage cross-functional improvement projects with measurable results.
• Track KPIs, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance production capabilities.
• Provide virtual training and remote mentorship to staff.
