Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join its remote-first team. You will analyze and improve complex processes across business units, leveraging lean manufacturing and Six Sigma to drive cost savings and productivity gains.

With 5–7 years in industrial engineering, you will design, simulate, and implement optimized workflows while collaborating with IT, operations, and management in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5-7 years in industrial engineering with focus on process optimization and system design.
• Expertise in lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), and SPC.
• Proficient with simulation tools Arena/AnyLogic and data tools (Excel, Minitab, SQL).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and remote collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive process analyses and system evaluations for efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Develop and implement solutions using lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
• Design, model, and simulate new process flows to optimize performance.
• Create detailed project plans with scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineered solutions.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards for optimization.
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance remotely.
