Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Process Engineer for a fully remote, SA-wide role. You will lead process optimization across multiple operations, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation tools to identify bottlenecks, drive efficiency, and reduce costs.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in industrial engineering, strong data analysis skills, and experience guiding cross‑functional teams in a remote environment. A Master's degree is a plus; a home office setup is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 5–7 years in industrial engineering, process improvement, or manufacturing ops.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, and CI methods.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current processes to boost efficiency, safety, and cost reduction.
• Design and model new production processes meeting performance and safety standards.
• Run feasibility studies and cost–benefit analyses for changes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement improvements.
• Develop SOPs and process documentation; train staff in new processes.
• Use simulation tools to test process changes before rollout.
• Monitor KPIs and report on performance trends.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
