Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Process Engineer for a fully remote role. You will optimize manufacturing processes, develop SOPs, and lead cross-functional projects to boost throughput, yield, and quality.

Strong expertise in lean and Six Sigma, plus data-driven decision making, is essential. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in process engineering, proficiency with design and simulation tools, and excellent remote collaboration skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial process engineering, focusing on optimization and efficiency.
• Strong proficiency in process design, simulation, and analysis tools.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (certification is a plus).
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills; proven project management capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze existing manufacturing and operational processes to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Design and implement new process technologies and methodologies to improve throughput, yield, and quality.
• Develop detailed process flow diagrams, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Apply lean manufacturing tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and 5S to eliminate waste.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement CAPA.
• Utilize SPC to monitor process performance and identify trends.
• Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, QA, and maintenance.
• Manage process improvement projects from conception through implementation.
• Stay current with advancements in process engineering technologies and industry best practices.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on process performance, project status, and recommendations.
