Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to lead major operational improvement initiatives in a fully remote capacity. You will apply advanced Lean Six Sigma, build simulation models, and drive cost savings across distributed teams.

Responsibilities include KPI establishment, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring engineers while delivering measurable productivity gains in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Masters in Industrial Engineering or related field (PhD a plus).
• 10+ years in Industrial Engineering with focus on operational strategy and implementation.
• Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification preferred; advanced statistics experience.
• Proven track record leading large-scale projects with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of large-scale operational improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma.
• Develop and maintain simulation models to predict impact of changes and optimize performance.
• Analyze supply chains, production lines, and logistics to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for operational effectiveness and provide strategic recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers and operations staff in process improvement and data analysis.
