Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Event Coordinator to join our fully remote team, driving end-to-end planning for high-profile hospitality and tourism events. You will manage venue selection, vendor contracts, budgeting, and on-site or virtual execution to ensure memorable experiences for attendees.

The role requires at least 5 years of event planning experience, strong organizational and negotiation skills, and proficiency with event management software and virtual platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management.
• Proven track record of managing complex events from conception to completion.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience with event management software and virtual platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences, ensuring flawless delivery.
• Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and secure contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Source and liaise with suppliers, including caterers, A/V technicians, entertainers, and decorators.
• Develop event timelines, coordinate logistics, and oversee on-site (or virtual) event setup and execution.
• Create engaging event materials, including invitations, programs, and promotional content.
• Provide exceptional client service and act as the main point of contact for event stakeholders throughout the planning process.
