Placements24 is seeking a Lead Quantity Surveyor to join a fully remote team delivering diverse construction projects. This senior role focuses on cost management, contract administration, and procurement, providing critical financial insights to project teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years' experience, professional registration, and expertise with JBCC/FIDIC contracts, CostX or Cubit, and MS Office. Remote-friendly with global collaboration tools.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Professional registration with SACQSP or RICS is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying and cost management.
• In-depth knowledge of JBCC, FIDIC contracts and procurement methods.
• Proficiency in CostX or Cubit and MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Develop detailed cost estimates, BoQ, and tender documents.
• Manage project finances from inception to completion, including budgets and forecasting.
• Administer contracts, including interim valuations, payments, and final accounts.
• Advise on procurement strategies to optimize costs.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for favorable terms.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management.
• Oversee junior quantity surveyors and provide mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulations.
