Placements24 seeks an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join its Mossel Bay operations. The role focuses on optimizing complex chemical processes, boosting production output and ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities include process optimization, P&ID updates, PHAs, and supporting project design for future expansions, with a hybrid work model and relocation support where needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years in process engineering within petrochemical or oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of reaction engineering, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
• Proficiency in process simulation tools and data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and optimize chemical processes to improve yield, efficiency and throughput.
• Develop and implement process improvements including P&ID updates and control strategies.
• Conduct PHAs and ensure compliance with safety/environmental regs.
• Provide technical support to operations/maintenance and lead design for projects.
