Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Design Engineer for a fully remote role, to lead design and optimization of advanced chemical processes for diverse industrial applications.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Chemical Engineering with 10+ years’ experience, expert use of Aspen HYSYS/Pro/II and CAD tools, and deep knowledge of HAZOP/LOPA, with strong remote collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in process design engineering with industrial chemical experience.
• Expert in process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, Pro/II) and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of process designs from concept to detailed engineering packages.
• Run complex process simulations and analyses to optimize performance.
• Create PFDs and P&IDs according to industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
