Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and innovative Chemical Process Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will analyze, design, and optimize chemical processes, ensuring safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with a global expert team from your home office.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in process design and optimization, proficiency in Aspen HYSYS or ChemCAD, and strong skills in safety analysis

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in chemical process design and optimization.
Proficiency with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD).
Experience with HAZOP analysis and process safety management.
Excellent analytical and remote communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new chemical processes, including equipment specification and P&ID creation.
Optimize existing processes to improve yield, reduce waste, and enhance safety.
Conduct process simulations and modeling to evaluate scenarios and identify optimal parameters.
Troubleshoot process issues and implement solutions to maintain operational integrity.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and performance analyses.
