Placements24 seeks a Senior Chemical Process Engineer for a fully remote role. You will oversee and optimize complex chemical processes, provide expert technical consultation, and drive process improvements from a virtual setting.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in chemical process engineering, advanced process modeling skills (Aspen Plus, HYSYS), and a proven track record in leading large projects with remote collaboration capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of extensive experience in chemical process engineering with project leadership.
• Experience with process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and advanced statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical guidance and leadership on chemical process design and optimization projects.
• Conduct advanced process simulations and modeling to predict performance and identify enhancement opportunities.
• Develop and refine SOPs and best practices for diverse chemical operations.
• Oversee remote process troubleshooting and support site-based teams.
• Review and approve process design packages ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
