Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Chemical Process Engineer for a fully remote role to lead design and optimization of chemical processes across varied industrial applications. You will develop process simulations, prepare equipment specs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering (Master's preferred), at least 6 years of experience, proficiency in Aspen Plus/HYSYS and CAD tools, and strong remote-working
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
- Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
- 6+ years of experience in chemical process engineering, design and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, analysis, and optimization of chemical processes for industrial applications.
- Develop process simulations, flow diagrams, and equipment specs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical reviews for project viability.
- Troubleshoot process issues and propose improvements with remote collaboration.
- Ensure designs comply with safety, environmental, and industry standards.
- Prepare technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
