Placements24 is seeking a Senior Process Chemical Engineer to join our innovative team in a fully remote capacity. You will lead design, optimization and troubleshooting of chemical processes, work with global teams, and ensure safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and 8+ years of progressive experience, expertise in Aspen HYSYS or PRO/II, PSM and risk assessment, and excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in chemical process engineering.
Strong expertise in process safety management (PSM) and hazard analyses.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex chemical processes, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Optimize existing chemical manufacturing processes to enhance yield, reduce costs, and improve energy efficiency.
Conduct rigorous process hazard analyses (PHAs), including HAZOP studies, and develop robust safety protocols.
Provide expert technical consultation and troubleshooting support for plant operations globally.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices within the engineering function.
Manage process engineering aspects of capital projects, ensuring successful and timely execution.
