You will work with a dedicated NOC team, use monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios or Zabbix, and collaborate with field techs and engineering to resolve outages quickly

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in a NOC or similar network support role.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with network monitoring and ticketing tools.
• CCNA/CompTIA Network+ are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and availability using management tools.
• Detect, diagnose, and resolve network incidents and outages promptly.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
• Respond to alerts and escalate to appropriate teams as needed.
• Document events, actions, and resolutions in the ticketing system.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and availability using various network management and monitoring tools.
• Detect, diagnose, and resolve network incidents and outages in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring network issues and implement preventative measures.
• Respond to network alerts and elevate issues to appropriate teams when necessary.
• Document network events, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with field technicians, engineering, and other support teams to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of network configurations, topology, and equipment.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of NOC procedures and best practices.
• Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for incident resolution.
• Participate in shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required for 24/7 coverage.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar network support role.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Familiarity with various telecommunications hardware and protocols (e.g., Cisco routers/switches, fiber optics, LTE basics).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are advantageous.
