Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead Learning and Development in Polokwane, Limpopo. You will design and implement comprehensive L&D strategies to foster growth, enhance skills, and support organizational development.

You will identify training needs, develop impactful programs, and evaluate outcomes to ensure ROI while staying current with adult learning theory. This hybrid role blends on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, with at least 3 years in a management or senior specialist role.
• Proven experience designing and delivering impactful L&D programs for diverse employee groups.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technologies (e.g., LMS).
• Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with South African labor regulations related to skills development (SETA).
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute a strategic L&D plan aligned with organizational goals and talent development needs.
• Identify training and development requirements across all departments through needs analysis.
• Design, implement, and manage a diverse range of learning programs including leadership development, technical skills training, and soft skills workshops.
• Oversee the selection and management of external training providers and resources.
• Develop and implement evaluation methods to measure impact and ROI of L&D programs.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Manage the L&D budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and department heads to support employee career development pathways.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in L&D and adult learning theory.
