Job summary

Placements24 in Polokwane, Limpopo, is seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Specialist for a remote-first role. You will identify training needs, design engaging programs, and deliver sessions to a distributed workforce, driving performance and growth.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in L&D or instructional design, with hands-on experience using Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate, strong LMS skills, and excellent virtual facilitation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Learning and Development, instructional design, or training delivery.
• Experience designing adult learning programs including e-learning modules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct learning needs analyses to identify skill gaps.
• Design, develop, and implement engaging learning programs (workshops, e-learning, blended).
• Facilitate training sessions, live and virtual, for diverse groups.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and iterate based on feedback.
• Develop and manage the annual L&D budget and calendar.
• Collaborate with SMEs to create training content.
• Manage the LMS and track training completion.
• Support onboarding with relevant training for new hires.
