Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to lead and expand strategic relationships within the Pretoria region. The role is remote, with some travel for client meetings, and requires deep enterprise software sales experience to drive retention, value, and upsell opportunities.

You will collaborate with sales engineers, support, and product teams to deliver outcomes, conduct quarterly business reviews, and negotiate renewals to maximize long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in account management or enterprise software sales.
• Proven track record of growing key accounts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work remotely and travel occasionally.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-value key accounts as primary contact.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within product suite.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure delivery and client success.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to reinforce value.
• Negotiate renewals and amendments to secure continued partnership.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to provide strategic insights.
