About the Role

Our client, a dynamic organization operating in the Northern Cape, based in Upington , is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HR Generalist with a specialization in employee development and training. Key Responsibilities

• Assess organizational training and development needs across all departments.
• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs and initiatives.
• Manage the employee performance appraisal system and provide guidance on goal setting.
• Develop and manage career development plans and succession planning processes.
• Identify and source external training providers and manage vendor relationships.
• Measure the effectiveness of training programs and report on outcomes.
• Support employee onboarding and integration processes.
• Handle various HR generalist functions including employee relations and HR administration.
• Stay updated on best practices in talent management and employee development.
• Contribute to the overall HR strategy and initiatives.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on employee development, training, and performance management.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Strong understanding of performance management systems and career pathing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Understanding of South African labor law is beneficial.
