Responsibilities include overseeing power distribution, motor control centers, and substations, while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Collaboration with mine operations, mechanical engineers, and contractors is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mining or heavy industrial sectors.
• Experience with high-voltage distribution, VFDs, and heavy industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems for mining equipment, including power distribution, motor control centers, and substations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards relevant to mining.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for electrical assets.
• Collaborate with mine operations, mechanical engineers, and external contractors.
