Placements24 is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will drive sales for a diverse catering portfolio, cultivate corporate and event-planner relationships, and develop proposals tailored to each client’s needs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in catering/hospitality sales, a strong track record of meeting targets, and excellent negotiation and presentation skills. Travel across Vereeniging and nearby regions is expected as part of growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in catering, hospitality, or events.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong networking abilities and relationship-building experience.
• In-depth understanding of catering services, menu planning, and event logistics.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel within the Vereeniging area and surrounding regions.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets for catering services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, leads, and market analysis.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and individuals.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals, menus, and contracts tailored to client requirements.
• Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand needs and showcase services.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure profitable business.
• Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Track sales performance, manage client databases, and provide regular reports to management.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
• Contribute to marketing efforts and brand representation within the Gauteng region.
