The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills, deep insurance value-chain knowledge, and the ability to mentor junior analysts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on insurance projects.
• Experience in requirements elicitation techniques (interviews, surveys, observation, JAD sessions).
• Proficiency in BPMN and use case development.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with insurance core systems (policy administration, claims) is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and in a Gauteng‑based environment.

Responsabilités

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements for insurance projects.
• Map current-state business processes and design future-state processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather detailed requirements from business users.
• Develop functional specifications, use cases, and process flows for system enhancements and new implementations.
• Collaborate with IT development teams to ensure accurate translation of business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test scenarios and validating test results.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on business operations and systems.
• Contribute to project planning, risk assessment, and change management activities.
