Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Vereeniging, Gauteng. The role focuses on bridging business needs with IT solutions within the financial sector, driving requirements gathering, analysis and documentation for software teams on-site.

You will own stakeholder management, translate requirements into detailed specs and contribute to regulatory-compliant financial solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency in the Gauteng region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in financial services.
• Strong requirement gathering, analysis and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of financial products, banking operations and regulatory frameworks (FICA/POPIA).
• Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories and use cases.
• Develop process flows, wireframes and mock-ups for proposed solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users and IT teams.
• Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Support development and testing to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Act as a liaison between business units and IT throughout projects.
