Placements24 is hiring a Senior Business Analyst in Kimberley, Northern Cape. You will gather and document business requirements, analyze complex data, and bridge business needs with IT solutions, working with stakeholders across IT, operations and management.

The role requires 5+ years of BA experience in financial services, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with UML/BPMN and Agile/Waterfall methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling and analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in UML and BPMN; familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and surveys.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements documents and training materials.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for clear communication.
• Identify and document risks and dependencies related to requirements.
• Support change management activities related to system and process implementations.
• Contribute to business case development and feasibility studies.
