Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with significant focus on insurance/financial services systems.
• Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management.
• Strong understanding of insurance business processes (policy administration, claims, underwriting).
• Proficiency in creating process models, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specs for insurance systems.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and discuss solutions.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Create process flows, use cases, and user stories to support system design and development.
• Collaborate with software developers, testers, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support system implementation and deployment.
• Provide training and support to end-users on new system functionalities.
• Stay updated on industry trends in insurance technology and BA best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BA methodologies and tools.
