Job summary

NTT DATA is hiring a Server Engineer (L2) to provide managed services and ensure client IT infrastructure stays operational. The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, incident investigation, and timely resolution within agreed SLAs.

Responsibilities include second-line support across Cloud, Security, Networking, and Applications, with collaboration across internal teams and external vendors. On-site presence is required at client locations in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computing or equivalent experience.
• Certifications relevant to the services provided add weight to the candidacy (VMware VCP, Veeam, Azure Administrator, MCSE).
• ITIL knowledge and vendor coordination beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor work queues and resolve incidents/requests within SLA.
• Provide second-level support across multiple domains (Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications).
• Escalate where needed and coordinate with CoE and vendors for resolution.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing
