Qualifications

• National Diploma in Payroll Management, Accounting, or Human Resources.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration.
• Thorough understanding of South African payroll legislation and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software (Sage, VIP Payroll) and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process the full payroll cycle accurately and efficiently on a monthly basis.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws, deductions, and statutory requirements (e.g., UIF, SDL).
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the payroll system.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and relevant authorities.
• Address and resolve employee queries related to payroll, deductions, and payslips.
• Liaise with external payroll service providers or auditors as necessary.
