Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Payroll Administration or Bookkeeping.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll processing experience.
• In-depth knowledge of South African payroll legislation and tax requirements.
• Proficiency with VIP Payroll and Pastel Payroll software; MS Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll accurately, ensuring compliance with tax laws and company policies.
• Manage employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to compensation.
• Calculate and process statutory deductions, such as UIF and PAYE.
• Reconcile payroll reports and address discrepancies.
• Liaise with HR and finance to ensure information accuracy.
• Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and authorities.
