Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at Clicks Parys Boulevard to support daily store operations and sales growth. You will lead initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and ensure high standards of service, merchandising and compliance across the team.

You will report to the Store Manager and will be involved in scheduling, promotional execution and daily administration to maximise profitability and a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 with Maths 50% and English 50%
• Desirable: Degree in Relevant Retail/Business Management
• Minimum 1 year in an assistant store management or Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme
• Financial management experience (budgets, P&L, financial ratios)

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to drive sales and customer loyalty.
• Execute promotional activities and drive cross-selling and up-selling.
• Manage store operations: expenses, stock, shrinkage, housekeeping and admin.
• Lead in-store visual merchandising to meet brand standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labour model compliance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and a great store experience.
• Ensure weekly time and attendance and HR records are accurate.
