Job summary

Clicks Group in Pretoria (Clicks Olievenhoutbosch) seeks an Assistant Store Manager who reports to the Store Manager and drives sales, service excellence and customer loyalty for a competitive brand advantage.

You will manage store operations, promotions, merchandising, stock, expenses and admin; supervise staff and scheduling; and implement customer service initiatives to boost club card participation.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 with Maths 50% and English 50%.
• Desirable: Degree in Retail/Business Management.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an assistant store management role within retail/FMCG.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and customer loyalty to meet targets.
• Oversee store operations including stock, expenses and admin.
• In-store merchandising and adherence to brand standards.
• Support Store Manager with staff motivation, scheduling and coverage.
• Execute customer service initiatives to boost club card participation.
