Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at Clicks Mall @ Emba to support the Store Manager in a busy retail environment. You will focus on driving sales, delivering service excellence, and building customer loyalty to secure a competitive advantage for the brand.

Key responsibilities include achieving store financial targets through promotions and cross-selling, managing stock, merchandising, staffing, and admin, and ensuring brand standards and great customer experiences daily.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Maths and English minimum requirements.
• Desirable: degree in Retail/Business Management.
• Minimum 1 year in an assistant store management role or completed Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme.
• Financial management experience (budgets, P&L, ratios).

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager to drive sales and customer loyalty.
• Manage store operations, stock, merchandising and admin.
• Lead scheduling and staff motivation per labour policy.
• Execute promotions, cross-selling and in-store initiatives.
• Maintain brand standards and branch presentation.
