Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 with Maths 50% and English 50% at minimum.
• Desirable: Degree in Retail/Business Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an assistant store management role in retail/FMCG or completion of Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme.
• Financial management experience including budgets, P&L, financial ratios.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to ensure efficient store operation and service excellence.
• Drive sales through promotions, cross-selling, and upselling.
• Manage stock, expenses, shrinkage, housekeeping and administration.
• Oversee in-store visual merchandising and promotional standards.
• Motivate and direct staff, especially in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist with daily staff scheduling in line with labour policy.
• Drive customer service initiatives to enhance loyalty and club card participation.
• Complete weekly time and attendance and HR records.
