Requirements include Grade 12 / Matric, basic computer skills, and SAP familiarity. The position emphasizes customer service, handling stock queries, refunds, and maintaining internal controls under pressure.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• SAP proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and report all customer complements and complaints to management.
• Establish a professional relationship with customers.
• Ensure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved.
• Maintain effective external communication with customers when they require feedback.
• Assist customers with enquiries and refer to appropriate departments.
• Adhere to the customer turnover per hour rate as per policy.
• Manage shorts and overs at the point of sale, including floats.
• Manage refund and return transactions.
• Ensure back shopping and returned goods are handled correctly.
• Verify and review deliveries and invoices for total accuracy.
• Assist Receiving Manager with Distribution Centre claims.
• Manage and control high risk stock.
• Prepare daily run reconciliation.
• Ensure cashiers have enough change to maintain service level.
• Maintain cash handling documentation and float management.
• Retail administration and operational knowledge.
• Team player with strong customer relations.
• Demonstrate leadership, honesty and ability to work under pressure.
