Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ Steps to Health, Plumstead store invites applications for a Retail Store Assistant. You will help manage daily store operations and handle administrative tasks in line with company policy.

The role requires Grade 12, basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP knowledge, plus retail experience. You will engage with customers, handle stock queries, refunds, and support the receiving team.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric is required.
• Retail experience is essential.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook; SAP knowledge is needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and report all customer compliments and complaints to management.
• Establish a professional relationship with customers.
• Ensure all customer stock queries are dealt with and resolved.
• Maintain effective external communication with customers when they require feedback.
• Assist customers with enquiries and refer to appropriate departments.
• Manage refunds and returns at the point of sale.
• Verify and review deliveries and invoices for total accuracy.
• Assist Receiving Manager with Distribution Centre claims.
