Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level.
• Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotions principles.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage stock, cash, shrinkage, and housekeeping to high standards.
• Train, lead, motivate, and direct shop assistants and cashiers to deliver service excellence.
• Ensure staffing levels align with work schedules and labour legislation.
• Resolve customer queries in line with company policies.
• Drive Clicks Clubcard promotion to meet participation targets.
• Enforce stock security, cash controls, returns, and related admin duties.
• Provide brand ambassador service and maintain high levels of customer experience.
