Job summary

Clicks Group in Alberton is seeking a Permanent Store Operations Leader to manage day-to-day POS operations, stock integrity, and cash handling. You will supervise shop assistants and cashiers, ensure staffing aligns with schedules, and resolve customer queries per company policies.

The role requires 1 year in a customer-facing retail/FMCG setting, with numeracy and stock management experience. You will drive promotions and uphold high service standards in a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12.
• Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at grade 12 level.
• 1 year experience in a customer facing role overseeing staff.
• Numeracy and stock management experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• Manage stock and cash, minimise shrinkage, and uphold housekeeping and administration standards.
• Train, motivate and supervise shop assistants/cashiers to deliver service excellence.
• Ensure staffing levels align with work schedules and policies.
• Resolve customer queries per Company policies.
• Promote Clicks clubcard objectives and participation targets.
• Safeguard stock using security measures, cash controls and returns policies.
• Provide superior customer service as a brand ambassador.
• Support the Group's vision as health and beauty retailer by living company values.
