Job summary

Clicks Group Limited seeks a store operations assistant to efficiently handle point-of-sale tasks, promote clubcard membership, and deliver excellent customer service. You will maintain cash accuracy, assist customers, and support merchandising standards at the Germiston location.

Desirable: Maths and English at Grade 12 level, with a retail/FMCG background helping to meet customer and sales targets.

Qualifications

• Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level
• Retail/FMCG store operations knowledge is advantageous
• Basic arithmetic and cash-handling understanding

Responsibilities

• To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment, including clubcard rewards.
• To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
• To promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to meet targets.
• To inform customers of promotions to drive sales and provide a positive experience.
• To deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador, visible and professional.
• To perform merchandising and housekeeping duties according to standards.
• To support the group’s vision to be the customers' first choice health and beauty retailer.
