Job summary

Clicks Group Limited is seeking a customer-focused Retail Associate to support in-store operations at one of our South African outlets. You will operate the point of sale, handle cash securely, process clubcard sign-ups, promote promotions, and ensure a friendly, professional customer experience.

Responsibilities include merchandising, stock replenishment, and maintaining visual standards while building product knowledge to assist shoppers.

Qualifications

Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level.
Retail/FMCG background and understanding of merchandising and promotions principles.
Experience in a customer facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment.

Responsibilities

To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased, including actioning clubcard rewards.
To promote the Clicks' clubcard and enroll new members to reach targets.
To make customers aware of promotions to positively affect sales and value.
To deliver superior customer service by being a brand ambassador, visible and professional.
To maintain merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to standards.
