Sanlam Developing Markets is seeking a Branch Manager in Richards Bay to grow the customer base and lead a sales and service driven team. You will develop and oversee the branch strategy, guide consultants, and ensure compliant operations while delivering superior client experiences.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in the industry, with at least 3 years in leadership, insurance sales, and credit experience. CPD compliance and strong people skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and regulatory qualifications are required.
• 5 years of recent industry experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Insurance sales experience and credit/lending experience preferred.
• Compliant with CPD current and past cycles.
• Strong people management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue by executing the retail branch strategy.
• Guide and align Sales Consultants with branch goals.
• Lead a service delivery culture for optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the Retail branch and business planning.
• Ensure sales delivery, service culture, compliance, and risk management.
• Handle HR-related people practices for direct reports.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activity.
• Engage key stakeholders to build relationships and drive outcomes.
