Job summary

Sanlam Limited, through Sanlam Developing Markets, seeks a Branch Manager to drive growth of the Retail Mass portfolio, shaping the branch strategy and revenue.

You will guide Sales Consultants, lead service delivery, ensure compliance, and manage day-to-day operations, performance, and stakeholder engagement.

This role requires leadership experience, CPD, and a strong customer focus, with opportunities for career advancement within a leading South African financial services group.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE1 and RE5 licences are required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised tertiary qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual) is required.
• Compliant with CPD current and past cycles.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass by developing and overseeing branch strategy.
• Guide and standardise activities of sales consultants within the branch.
• Lead a service delivery culture to deliver an optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, strategy development, and business planning.
• Ensure sales delivery, compliance, quality, and risk management.
• Oversee HR-related people practices for direct reports in collaboration with HR.
• Plan and report monthly on sales and service activities.
• Identify stakeholders and engage effectively to build relationships.
