Sanlam Developing Markets in Cape Town invites applications for a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through developing and executing the branch strategy.

You will lead a team of Sales Consultants, drive a service culture, ensure compliant operations and manage day-to-day branch activities, including planning and performance reviews. A strong background in wealth management and client engagement is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Matric and regulatory qualifications required for the financial services industry.
• RE1/RE5 and Class of Business accreditation are mandatory.
• Wealth management credits or FSCA-recognised qualification preferred.
• CPD current and past cycles must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through branch strategy execution.
• Guide and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in the branch.
• Lead service delivery culture and optimize client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and business planning.
• Ensure sales delivery, compliance, quality, and risk management.
• Handle HR-related people practices for direct reports in collaboration with HR.
• Monthly planning and reporting of sales and service activities.
• Identify stakeholders and develop engagement to build relationships.
