Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM), a subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited, is seeking a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue of the Retail Mass segment by leading the branch strategy and sales delivery.

You will guide Sales Consultants, ensure service excellence, uphold risk management, and drive performance through planning, stakeholder engagement, and people management within the Durban branch.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE1 and RE5 registrations are required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or an FSCA-recognised tertiary qualification is required.
• Class of Business accreditation must be maintained annually.
• CPD compliance across cycles is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through developing and overseeing the branch strategy.
• Guide and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in line with the strategy.
• Lead a service delivery culture to enable optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day branch maintenance and management, and develop the branch strategy and business plan.
• Ensure sales delivery and establish a service culture; ensure compliance and risk management.
• Manage HR-related processes for direct reports in collaboration with HR.
