Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets SDM is seeking a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue by executing the retail branch strategy. You will guide Sales Consultants, lead a service delivery culture, and ensure compliant, high-quality operations within the branch.

The role requires leadership experience, CPD compliance, and strong stakeholder engagement to drive growth in the South African market.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE1 and RE5 certifications are required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual).
• CPD compliance current and past cycles is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Service Management experience is essential.
• Insurance sales experience.
• Credit and lending experience.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue by executing the branch strategy.
• Guide and standardise activities of Sales Consultants.
• Lead a service delivery culture ensuring optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and business planning.
• Ensure sales delivery, compliance, quality, and risk management.
• Manage direct reports and collaborate with HR on talent and development.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities.
• Engage key internal/external stakeholders to build relationships.
