Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is seeking a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue of the Retail Mass through strategic leadership. You will guide Sales Consultants, drive a service culture, and ensure daily branch operations align with agreed strategy.

The role requires leadership experience, CPD compliance, and strong regulatory and risk awareness, with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences and managing stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE1 and RE5 certifications are required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual) is required.
• CPD current and past cycles compliance is required.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue of Retail Mass by developing and executing branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate, and standardise activities of Sales Consultants per strategy.
• Lead a service-delivery culture and ecosystem for optimal client experience.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Retail branch including strategy and planning.
• Ensure branch sales delivery and drive a strong service culture.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management across the branch.
• Oversee operational people practices with HR collaboration.
• Monthly planning and reporting of sales and service activities.
• Identify stakeholders and engage effectively to build relationships.
