Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is seeking a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue of the Retail Mass segment. You will develop and oversee the execution of the retail branch strategy, guiding Sales Consultants to achieve targets and ensuring an excellent client experience.

You will lead day-to-day branch operations, ensure compliance and risk management, and collaborate with HR on people practices. A strong focus on results and stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE1 and RE5 registrations are required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual).
• CPD current and past cycles compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through branch strategy.
• Guide and align Sales Consultants with branch goals.
• Lead a service delivery culture within the branch for optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day Retail branch management and planning.
• Ensure sales delivery, service culture, compliance and risk management.
• Manage HR-related responsibilities for direct reports in collaboration with HR.
• Plan and report monthly on sales and service activities.
• Engage with Area Managers, Business Owners and community forums.
