Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets is seeking an experienced branch manager to grow the customer base and revenue of the Retail Mass segment in South Africa. You will oversee the development and execution of the retail branch strategy, guiding sales consultants and ensuring a high-quality client experience.

You will lead daily branch operations, drive service delivery, manage risk and compliance, and report on sales performance.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE1 and RE5 registrations are required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation.
• CPD compliance current and past cycles.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through developing and overseeing the execution of the branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate, and standardise activities and objectives of Sales Consultants in the branch.
• Lead a service delivery culture and ecosystem within and outside the branch to enable an optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the Retail branch and develop branch strategy and business planning.
• Ensure branch sales delivery, service culture, compliance, quality and risk management.
