Job summary

Sanlam Retail Mass seeks a Branch Manager to grow the customer base and revenue by directing and overseeing the execution of the branch strategy. You will guide and unify the activities of Sales Consultants to meet strategic goals and ensure an optimal client experience.

Leading day-to-day operations, you will manage branch planning, compliance, and risk. Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision making are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE1 and RE5 qualifications are required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation needed (annual).
• CPD compliance across cycles is required.
• Minimum 5 years in industry with at least 3 in leadership roles.
• Service Management experience is essential.
• Credit and lending experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through executing the branch strategy.
• Guide and align Sales Consultants with branch goals.
• Lead a service delivery culture for an optimal client experience.
• Manage day-to-day branch operations and strategic plan execution.
• Ensure sales delivery, compliance, quality, and risk management.
• Oversee people practices for direct reports with HR collaboration.
• Plan and report monthly sales and service activities; engage stakeholders.
