Job summary

Alliance Foods SA (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a Benched Shift Supervisor to oversee restaurant operations, supervise team members, and ensure adherence to policies, hygiene, maintenance and service standards. The role supports the ARM and RGM in delivering customer-focused hospitality and safety across shifts.

The incumbent will allocate duties, monitor performance, assist with training, and uphold the How We Win Together principles with leadership and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RGM in achieving CHAMPS Standards by ensuring staff focus on cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, maintenance, product and service speed.
• Manage shifts per company policies, directing employees to maximise sales, efficiency and profitability.
• Allocate tasks to each employee on shift and monitor performance.
• Ensure maintenance procedures are followed and report repairs to the RGM.
• Enforce safety and security controls for staff, customers, property and company funds.
• Report employee relations, customer service and health inspection issues to ARM/RGM.
• Assist ARM/RGM with restaurant training programmes to maximise staff performance and growth.
• Demonstrate KFC How We Win Together principles, leading with Heart, Smart and Courage.
