Placements24 seeks an experienced Resort and Spa Manager for a premier leisure resort in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. You will oversee guest services, spa operations, and overall resort performance to deliver an exceptional experience.

The role requires strong leadership, a background in hospitality management, and a passion for wellness and service excellence. Relocation to Nelspruit is expected, with opportunities for professional development and staff advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in resort/hotel management with spa/leisure focus.
• Experience managing multiple departments and staff.
• Strong financial acumen with budget and P&L oversight.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in spa services and passion for wellness.
• Proficiency with PMS and spa software.
• Willing to relocate to Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
• Flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of resort operations including front desk, housekeeping, groundskeeping, and leisure activities.
• Direct and oversee spa operations ensuring high-quality treatments and client satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience and loyalty.
• Manage departmental budgets, control expenses, and drive revenue growth for all resort services.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of staff, ensuring high performance and service standards.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all resort facilities and grounds.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations for all operations.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional packages and events.
• Manage inventory for spa and recreational supplies.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues promptly.
